White Flag of the Dead by Joseph Talluto

Really good zombie novel. I like the idea of taking everything back, mostly people are hiding, or running for their lives.
Most zombie books have a lot of things I do not care for -- as if they were written for teenage boys (especially explicit female body parts.)
I don't mind your everyday f words or average cursing, but the books I'm speaking of are not for a Grandmother like me.
The main character is a father and leader, and if there is ever a zombie apocalypse I want him in charge. I really want to read all the books in this series--hopefully one day.

I haven't read all of the Shannara books, jut the 3 about the Gypsy Morph called Genesis of Shannara, by Terry Brooks.

I really love the characters...they don't follow the standard description of good and evil, but are individually 

unique to make up this wonderful story. 

The ending has me longing to know what Hawk finds when he awakens, but that is the way a really

good book should make you feel....always wanting more, and it is never enough.
