I love this book, because of its humor, wit, writing, it's engaging, and timeless, and so much more. Jane loved to write stories in settings of small villages with a few interesting families to work with.
It is hard for me to describe what the perfect word is for this book. Yes, it is humorous, but not the kind that makes anyone laugh out loud, or even chuckle, but there are many smiles, and many delicious moments of extreme satisfaction.
We might answer a question with a response of 'no', but she would write this same answer in many paragraphs. Of course, they are not just boring words describing no, but words filled with intelligence, and thoughtfulness.
I am trying to only explain the writing, and not the story itself, which you can find reviews for everywhere. I really can not do this book justice in my writing, so therefore, I will end this with please read, (it's free on Kindle.) Yes, it is harder to read than books of today, but well worth the extra time.
